Public trust through open methodology and a tamper-evident audit ledger.

What is Bantay Oriental Mindoro?
An independent citizen election vote measuring verified preferences of Filipinos for the 2028 national elections — President, Vice President, and Senators.

How participants are verified
Identity is established through multiple signals: ID capture, mobile OTP, and (where supported) selfie/liveness checks. No single signal proves uniqueness.

How duplicates are prevented
Server-side uniqueness constraints, idempotency keys, and risk scoring prevent one participant from creating multiple accepted responses.

How responses are protected
Identity and vote preferences are stored in logically separated domains. No operational staff can easily link a person to their candidate choices.

How results are calculated
Aggregate totals are computed server-side from accepted responses, reconciled against source records, and cached for near-real-time display.

Audit / integrity methodology
Every accepted submission is recorded in a tamper-evident append-only ledger with cryptographic chaining and public verification identifiers.

Known limitations
Voluntary participation is not automatically representative of the electorate. Raw totals are labeled as such until a documented sampling methodology is applied.

Submissions are not official election ballots. Results are not official election results.
